The first group of NASA astronaut Scott Carpenter died at the age of 88 .Carpenter was one of the first members of the Mercury 7 project .Carpenter , Aurora 7 spacecraft orbit the earth in 1962, allowing you to three rounds , the second American had been traveling to orbit the earth .After retiring in 1969, has participated in oceanography .
